2007 Season

Honda Cadet (4 Stroke Project 1) No Team

Connor first became involved in the sport when he was given the chance to try motocross and karting back in March 2007. He wanted to take part in a motorsport related activity but was unsure of what he would like best. After a day out at North Weald motocross circuit and then a trial at Buckmore Park kart centre, he chose karting and we decided to purchase his first race kart - a two stroke Zip Storm from Zip Kart at Rye House.

We quickly realised that to be competitive Connor needed an easier entry level to develop his track craft as the Zip Chassis was difficult to master, so in March 2007 we purchased a Project 1 Chassis with a 4 stroke RPM engine and started racing. The Project One Chassis was far easier to drive and was very forgiving if any mistakes were made, Season highlights;

Rye House setting new lap record in London Cup against Alex Albon
