Juppy's Buckmore Comeback

In an effort to keep in the seat during the winter months, Juppy returned to Buckmore Park nearly three years after securing his Honda Cadet S1 Title.

With no KF3 races available, Jupp joined forces with the top Rotax Team Evolution Motorsport under the watchfull eye of Ash Whitcroft to compete in Junior Max on his Energy Works chassis.

Jupp quickly adapted to the freezing conditions and wet surface posting third quickest in TQ. Heat one saw Jupp pile on the pressure to the two front runners managing to squeeze into second place for the last lap. As Jupp neared the last two turns he made a major lunge on the leader only to clip wheels and be sent reeling ten places backwards.

Heat two saw Jupp yet again battle to the front and deliver a sound 5th place for the main final. The final took place in sub zero conditions with track conditions slightly wetter after a breif flurry of snow. A great start saw Jupp battle it out for third and then quickly into second. The leader and club champion Prior managed to establish a gap ahead of Jupp and the race ended with Jupp securing a great second position after his long absence from the Kent circuit.
